Ban The Taliban Campaign

#BanTheTaliban campaign looks at spreading awareness on women’s current and future suffering under the Taliban’s strict and controlling rules to make a change and support Afghan women. The aim of the campaign is for Australian women to donate and demonstrate in order to pressure the Australian government to take action. The campaign message proposes that the Taliban have not changed as they continue to oppose Afghan women rights by restricting them from playing sports, schooling etc. The tone of the campaign is emotive and assertive which, is reflected in the design.

The design uses minimal colours to reflect the serious tone, using red to highlight the issue and ban wording. Each poster demonstrates what women have had to give up under current Taliban rules from sports, work and schooling. The campaign design is raw and direct to impact the audience and get them involved.
